Placemark Investments is an investment advisory firm registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company is privately held, with 54 employees located in offices in Dallas, Texas and Wellesley, Massachusetts.
Placemark develops, implements, and supports wealth solutions, including Unified Managed Account platforms and retirement solutions for broker/dealers, registered investment advisors, banks, and family offices. As the separate account industry’s leading independent overlay portfolio manager, Placemark coordinates multiple investment vehicles such as separately managed accounts, mutual funds, and ETFs into a single customized portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Investment Analyst will support the Chief Investment Officer and become an integral component in monitoring and revising Placemark's investment process. This person will also assist in various aspects of Placemark's relationships with sub-advisors. Responsibilities include:
| Analyze investment results including dispersion and attribution analysis | |
| Prepare supplemental analysis for key accounts | |
| Develop investment proposals for large, complicated prospects | |
| With CIO, co-author investment policy papers | |
| Assist in the analysis and monitoring of sub-advisers to Placemark | |
| Assist due diligence efforts and other outside evaluations of Placemark | |
| Assist in product development including developing specifications for system enhancements / refinements |
Secondary duties may include:

Assist in hiring and training new sub-advisers |

Monitoring and reporting on sub-advisor relationships. |
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES
|
BS in quantitatively-oriented course of study; MBA preferred |
|
|
Advantage to CFA charter holders and candidates |
|
|
5+ years industry experience in quantitative methods for investment management |
|
|
Experience in the separate account business or as a pension consultant a plus |
|
|
Strong computer skills and/or programming skills a must |
