As part of our overall advisor solution, Placemark provides customized Web-based tools to support client profiling, proposal generation, account opening and account maintenance processes. Placemark’s advisor workstation extends the functionality of Placemark’s powerful investment process out to the advisors in the field, giving them control and enabling efficient operations. Unlike other financial planning and account maintenance systems, Placemark’s advisor workstation is specifically designed to support the unique multi-product requirements of a Unified Managed Account program. The financial advisor desktop is a Web-based system that is hosted and maintained by Placemark and accessible via the advisor’s Web browser and Internet connection. Each implementation of the application is highly customized to the product configuration, paperwork, and feature set of the sponsoring organization and is often integrated into the sponsor's existing intranet infrastructure.
